Custom Reports

Every report in HotelAmplify is configurable. Rather than building a report from scratch, you start from one of the standard reports and tailor it with a date range, view options, and filters to answer your specific question.

Configuring a report

When you launch a report from the reports dashboard, a configuration dialog appears before the report runs:

  1. Date range - every report accepts a from/to date range. The current month is selected by default; change it to any period you need.
  2. Report-specific options - some reports offer extra controls. For example:
    • Revenue Analysis - choose a view type: Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, or Detailed
    • Group Pace - choose the metric: Revenue, Room Nights, or All Metrics
  3. Click Run Report to generate the report with your settings.

Filtering within a report

Once a report is open, use the Filters button in the report toolbar to narrow the data further - for example adjusting the date window without re-running the configuration dialog.

Sharing a configured report

A report's configuration is encoded in its URL - the date range and view options appear as query parameters (for example ?from=2026-07-01&to=2026-07-31&format=monthly). That means you can:

  • Bookmark a report with the exact settings you use every week
  • Share the link with a colleague so they see the same report, configured the same way

HotelAmplify does not currently include a from-scratch report builder - customization works by configuring the standard reports listed in the Reports Overview. If there is a report you need that is not covered, let us know at support@hotelamplify.com.
